[ Qd100Qu ]

Qd100Qu is an upgrade to the main Qd100Q movie download. It allows you
to watch the demos from the normal first-person perspective, with the
usual texts and effects. The other way in which you can obtain the
first-person perspective demos is by patching the previously released
Qd1Q7245 download with a small DOS executable progam Qd100Qp. Thus if
download time is expensive for you and you already have the original
Qd1Q7245 download, you may want to use the patch program instead.

In the Qd100Qu.zip you should find:
 - this text file, Qd100Qu.txt
 - an upgrade, pak1.pak

To produce a useful result from using this upgrade, you will need
 - the pak0.pak file from the main Qd100Q download

The pak1.pak upgrade is very simple to use. Just place it in the
game subdirectory where you have put your Qd100Q pak0.pak file.
Then run Qd100Q in the normal way and you will be able to select
which versions of demos you wish to play through the menu interface.
