DESCRIPTION:
This SoftPaq contains utilities that can be used to restore or update the 
system BIOS on hp compaq thin client t5000 series (786W2 BIOS).

Several methods for changing the BIOS version on your computer may be chosen.
Included are the various ways to perform the update. Each folder provided has 
self-contained files to perform the BIOS update and any unwanted folders may 
be deleted.

Tools and appropriate BIOS images are contained in each of the directories as 
follows:

  DOS Flash - DOS utility that can be used locally or with a Preboot eXecution 
  Environment (PXE) management application to update or restore the system BIOS.  

  WFlash - Windows-based utility to locally update the system BIOS on 
  individual PCs through the Windows environment.

  CEFlash - CE.net-based utility to locally update the system BIOS on
  individual PCs through the CE.net environment.

  Flash Diskette - Creates a bootable 1.44 diskette that can be used to locally 
  restore or update the system BIOS.  
  
The BIOS Family and BIOS date can be determined by pressing F10 on the target 
computer during system power on to run the Setup Utility, and then selecting 
System Information.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.  The file that is 
downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq 
Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the 
on-screen instructions.

WARNING: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR ATTEMPT TO REBOOT THE COMPUTER DURING THE 
UPGRADE PROCESS!!!
