This package is used toflash the System ROM on target notebooks in a network, and it requires SystemSoftware Manager (SSM).IMPORTANT: To use this package on a computer running Microsoft Windows 98, please use SSM version 1.62A for the remote flashing. Please do NOT use SSM version 1.70A to perform remote flashing with the Windows 98 operating system. NOTE: To determine the ROM family and ROM date, press F10 on the target notebook during startup to run the Setup Utility, by and then view File/SystemInformation. |

HOW TO USE: |
NOTE: The System BIOS image must be used with SSM in order to actually flash the System BIOS on a target notebook in a network. 1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. 2. Copy the SoftPaq file to the file store.
