DESCRIPTION:  
This package contains Intel PRoset for the listed systems, adapters, and
operating systems. 

Intel PROSet is a wireless LAN (WLAN) application that replaces the default
Microsoft Windows XP Windows Zero Configuration service. Once Intel PROSet is
installed, it must be used to configure the Intel wireless devices and to manage
the wireless network connections. Intel PROSet is required for users with the
listed Intel adapters in order to connect to wireless networks that use Cisco
Compatible Extensions. Users may also find Intel PROSet useful for advanced
profile management, single-sign-on support, and advanced diagnostics. Most home
and small office/home office (SOHO) users do not need this functionality. If
Microsoft Windows XP Windows Zero Configuration service is required again,
uninstall Intel PROSet.

- Fixes issue where PROSet does not authenticate using manual PAC provisioning
  with EAP-FAST.
- Fixes issue where the Intel PROSet/Wireless Software database is corrupted or
  deleted during upgrade.
- Fixes issue where Microsoft Windows XP Wireless Zero Configuration preferred
  networks are lost when upgrading PROSet over an installed 9.x release.
- Fixes issue where Intel ZCfgSvc stopped responding (crashed) when performing
  a silent upgrade from 9.0.2.1 or prior to 10.x on the Japanese Language
  version of Microsoft Windows XP.

PREREQUISITES:  
- Download and install SoftPaq Number SP32574 (or later), "Intel PRO/Wireless
  Drivers," Version 5.00 Rev E. This SoftPaq installs driver version 10.1.0.15
  for the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 Network Connection, or driver version 9.0.3.9
  for the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 or 2915 Network Connection.

HOW TO USE:  
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
