Release Notes - Win 98 ver. 3.0.0.0 7/Feb/00
This driver will work with 2 4-port MVP cards, except for a PC with an onboard VGA chip, in which case the maximum number of ports is 6 (ie 4 + 2).
If WDM support for hardware video overlay is released, it will not work in a PC with an onboard VGA chip.

The PC BIOS should be set for plug and play OS present.

Release Notes - Win98 Beta 0201 1/27/99
STB MVP products are designed for the Windows NT environment.  However, to accommodate our Windows 98 users we are making this Beta 0201 driver available. This  driver is provided AS IS without any warranties either expressed or implied, including but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

While STB does not plan to update, revise, or enhance this driver we will continue to offer product support for and will attempt to resolve issues that do not require driver modifications.

This driver is designed for use with STB MVP PRO, MVP PRO AGP, MVP PRO ZX and MVP PRO SE cards.
An MVP PRO AGP/SE card and multiple MVP PRO PCI cards can be used together in the same system.

Known Issues  All MVP Pro Cards

- We do not recommend that you use the 1152x864 resolution at any color depth.

- If you set the resolution to 1152x864 mode in any color depth without restarting Win98 and you move applications from Monitor 1 to other monitors you may see corruption on the top of the application's toolbar.

- If you set the resolution to 1152x864 in any color depth and restart the system, the color depth switches to High Color 16-bit with an error message saying "There is a problem with your display settings..." Set the resolution to 640x480 256 colors and restart the PC.  Then set a resolution other than 1152x864.

- If any monitor is set to a different color depth, resolution, or refresh rate than the primary monitor and the system is shut down, when the system is rebooted, that monitor, and all other monitors will come up using the settings of the primary monitor.

- When an AVI window covers an MPEG window and you press Alt-Enter several times the MPEG window may began to flash with corruption.

- In 1024x768 and 1280x1024 High Color 16-bit modes, if you right click on MPEG windows, choose properties, and  select auto repeat the system may lock up.
- If you play an AVI and an MPEG file at the same time in 640x480 True Color 32-bit mode and alt-enter the AVI you may get an error Message saying "No combination of intermediate filter could be found to make the connection."

- If the system is in 256 color mode and goes into the Open GL Pipes screen saver, the Windows colors are distorted when the system returns from screensaver mode.  We recommend using High Color 16-bit color modes.
